As part of the design process, I often play around with and create 'salpas' or 3D prototypes to aid my design and to find new and innovative construction methods.
I especially enjoy the evolution of new forms and constructions which form via this development process.
A final salpa is a beneficial way to show the client and eventually, the factory exactly how the final bag should look, ensuring an easy development process.
Many of my clients find it helpful to visualise how their bags will look in 3D at the development stage.
